Great Valley Community Organization! This spring CCRES’s Sharon King visited to see all the wonderful activities including the Challenger Gym Program (https://www.gvco.org/Default.aspx?tabid=1198995) CCRES has provided a $5,000 sponsorship for. This program is in essence, a gym class for special needs students, which are difficult to find in this area. The challenged student is paired up with one or two high school students and they participate together in physical activities.

Ryan McAnerny (pictured in the dark blue sweatshirt with his mom, Debbie, in purple) participates in this program as well as the ACHIEVE program, a CCIU program which is also staffed by CCRES. Former Challenger Gym student, Wendy Morris, (pictured in the dark blue t shirt with the young girl in orange) was also there giving back and is a buddy to another student!!

It was a heartwarming day to see old friends, past participants and current CCRES clients all benefiting from this fantastic community program.
