As a staff member with CCRES, you will be required to supply various documents at the time of hire and periodically during your ongoing relationship with CCRES. As required by state and federal laws, all applicants working in public or private schools, including independent contractors, must undergo criminal background checks and Tuberculosis (TB) testing, while other items are program-specific. Your contact at CCRES can help determine which are important for you and how to stay up to date.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Clearances must be no more than one year old at the time of onboarding. Tuberculosis (TB) tests must be no more than 3 months old at the time of onboarding.
  • Candidates must request clearances for Employment purposes. Volunteer clearances are not accepted.

1. Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance

Pennsylvania Child Welfare Portal Please apply online HERE.

Once on the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Portal, you will be asked to either log in or (if new) create an account. From the portal dashboard, you can also verify an existing certificate.

2. PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance

EPATCH web site Please apply online HERE using Submit New Record Check.

Note: there is no longer a mail out option for requested on the EPATCH web site, the requester will need to print out the No Record or Record response.

3. ​Federal Criminal History Record Information (FBI) Clearance

4. Tuberculosis (TB)

TB tests can be obtained from your primary physician or urgent care facility. We require tests to be obtained within 3 months of hire. A Chest Xray is also acceptable.  

5. Mandated Reporter Training

Per Act 126, mandated reporters must take a 3 hour training on Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse every five years.

6. Education Documentation

10. COVID-19 Program Regulations

  • Adult Program Services at Achieve: COVID vaccination required
  • Head Start Program: COVID vaccination and masking required, regardless of vaccination status
  • All other programs do not have vaccine or masking requirements at this time, but are subject to change based on local and federal policies and mandates
