Achieve Adult Service Program Open Interview Day!

The CCIU provides Adult Support Services in accordance with the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) and the Office of Long-term Living (OLTL) waivers/Community Health Choice regulations.  CCRES provides the Direct Support Professionals who working closely with the CCIU staff and the AChieve consumers. 

Achieve is a program for adults with disabilities, ages 21 and older, who wish to develop a wide range of life skills while engaging and participating in their community.

Achieve uses a person-centered approach to develop learning opportunities based on the unique skills and interests of the individual.

Community participation activities are based upon the unique interests of the consumer and may include:

• The local library
• Local points of interest
• Seasonal activities in the local community
• Local stores and restaurants
• Parks
• The gym
• Utilizing public transit
• Communication skill building
• Creative engagement with arts and music
• Reading and playing games
• Meal preparation
• Pre-vocational skill building
• Sensory engagement
