We’re proud to partner with West Shore School District through the Student Specialist Program, giving high school seniors from Cedar Cliff and Red Land the chance to explore careers in education while supporting classrooms across the district.

These talented students, known as Student Support Specialists, are hired and paid by CCRES to assist teachers in grades K–8. They gain hands-on experience with lesson prep, classroom management, and daily routines — all while balancing school, sports, and extracurriculars!

With training, mentorship, and real-world insight, this program helps students discover the rewards of teaching and inspires many to return as future educators.

This year, in the 2025-2026 school year, we’re thrilled to have 20 Student Specialists placed across primary, intermediate, and middle school buildings. THANK YOU WEST SHORE!!
