Staffing

  1. What positions does CCRES hire for?
CCRES provides positions for employees and independent contractors. We hire educational and behavioral health staff including instructional assistants, paraprofessionals, personal care assistants (PCAs), behavior health technicians (BHTs), registered behavior technicians (RBTs), mobile therapists, behavior consultants, and behavioral analysts. This is not a complete list as we are collaborative and flexible, assisting districts and IUs with many staffing needs. Please visit the CCRES Careers Page for all current job openings.
CCRES also hires Educational Consultants.  These staff are independent contractors that specialize in high level, school based administrative positions such as Principals, Superintendents, Athletic Directors, Business Mangers etc.   If you are applying for an Educational Consultant position please contact Michael Katch (michaelkatch@ccres.org) more information.
  2. Is there work in the summer?
The majority of our positions at CCRES follow the academic school calendar (10 months). Some positions are year round working in the home and community. There are options to work in the summer through our year-round positions, in Extended School Year (ESY) programs, as well as community locations/programs. While we do have fewer summer opportunities, we will work with interested staff to find as many summer work hours as possible.
  3. Are your positions full-time or part-time?
School based assignments are 10-month positions and follow the academic school calendar. Many positions are 5 days per week with 7.5 hours per day, excluding school holidays. Home and community assignments can be year- round with 35+ hours per week. The majority of our support staff are classified “fee for service”. We also have independent contractor (1099) positions which have highly variable hours depending on the position.
  4. How do I pick up additional hours after school as a Behavior Health Technician (BHT)?
Staff who are working on assignment through the CCIU with Advanced Clinical Services (ACS)/Home and Community Services (H&CS) and are interested in picking up supplemental hours can contact a CCRES HR Recruiter (Mercy Alex mercyalex@ccres.org or Kristin Rosen kristinrosen@ccres.org) or the CCIU Case Management Team for more information. If an available case is identified, a CCRES Recruiter will ensure compliance with BHT requirements (DHS FBI clearance, trainings, Service Agreement and Job Description). Staff can begin their BHT assignment when all requirements are completed and CCRES HR completes internal documentation to add the BHT service.

Payroll / Bonuses

  1. How do I read the payroll schedule?
The payroll schedule is accessible via Paycom, in your “Welcome” email sent by your Recruiter after hire, and on the CCRES website 24/7 under “Staff Resources”. The column to the left titled “Week Ending (Friday)” refers to the Friday on which the week ends. The column to the right titled “Payment Date (Friday)” refers to the corresponding Friday payment date. Any service hours worked and documented accurately (timesheet or electronic documentation system submitted on time) during that two-week timeframe will be paid on the corresponding Friday noted in “Payment Date.”
  2. If I refer someone to CCRES, how/when will I receive my referral bonus?
Once a referral is officially hired, you will receive your referral bonus in your paycheck after your referral earns their first paycheck.

Benefits

  1. Will I lose my health benefits over the summer since I won’t be working 30+ hours per week?
No, you have the option to continue your benefits over the summer, however, you will be responsible for paying your portion of the benefit premiums.  Your portion of the benefit premiums is the same amount that is deducted from your pay when you receive a paycheck.  If you choose to continue your benefits, you will receive a communication in June outlining your premium responsibilities along with a payment schedule.

  1. What is the call- out procedure if on assignment for Advanced Clinical Services (ACS) program?

  2. Can I take a leave of absence from CCRES?
Yes. You can request a leave of absence from CCRES for up to 3 months, provided that you have worked with CCRES for at least a 12-month period, however your specific case assignment may not be guaranteed. Your leave time will be unpaid. Please contact your HR recruiter to request a leave of absence form.
  3. I was injured at work – what’s the process?
