DESCRIPTION:The CCIU provides Adult Support Services in accordance with the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) and the Office of Long-term Living (OLTL) waivers/Community Health Choice regulations.  CCRES provides the Direct Support Professionals who working closely with the CCIU staff and the AChieve consumers.  \n\n\n\nAchieve is a program for adults with disabilities\, ages 21 and older\, who wish to develop a wide range of life skills while engaging and participating in their community. \n\n\n\nAchieve uses a person-centered approach to develop learning opportunities based on the unique skills and interests of the individual. \n\n\n\nCommunity participation activities are based upon the unique interests of the consumer and may include: \n\n\n\n\nThe local library\n\n\n\nLocal points of interest\n\n\n\nSeasonal activities in the local community\n\n\n\nLocal stores and restaurants\n\n\n\nParks\n\n\n\nThe gym\n\n\n\nUtilizing public transit\n\n\n\nCommunication skill building\n\n\n\nCreative engagement with arts and music\n\n\n\nReading and playing games\n\n\n\nMeal preparation\n\n\n\nPre-vocational skill building\n\n\n\nSensory engagement
